Business Analyst – Enterprise
About the Role
The Business Analyst – Enterprise is responsible for ensuring the Business Enterprise team is provided with accurate reports, analysis, insights, and clear information in a timely manner to support well-informed business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Planning & Analytics

Identify, create, and scope valuable changes and enhancements to business processes.

Provide detailed business analysis outlining problems, opportunities, solutions, variance analysis, and Customer Value Management (CVM) insights.

Prepare and communicate Business Enterprise KPIs and performance updates on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Analyze raw data from MIS, Finance, and Marketing and link performance against targets to enable better decisions.

Ensure the availability and accuracy of the Revenue Tracker and associated inputs.

Liaise with bucket owners to ensure correct monthly billing and adherence to revenue processes.
2. Sales Commission Tracking
-
Track performance and compute monthly sales commissions.

Evaluate monthly performance, calculate commissions per commission structure, and coordinate approvals and payout processing with relevant stakeholders (HOD, Director, Finance, and HR).
3. Customer Value Management (CVM) Execution & Reporting
-
Create weekly CVM plans including schedules, frequency, and SMS structures for Hybrid, MSME, and Chapakazi customers.

Execute daily CVM campaigns to drive subscriptions and support bucket growth.

Share CVM performance reports three times per week with stakeholders.
4. Business Investment Inputs & Business Cases

Conduct market evaluations for new coverage sites (BTS), coverage improvements, and capacity sites.

Support the development of business cases to justify CAPEX requirements.

Track and analyze business performance to understand underperformance and propose corrective actions.
5. Handset Subsidy Requests Management
-
Manage handset subsidy lifecycle, including quarterly budgets, customer residual amounts, and customer handset requests.

Develop feasible handset business cases considering estimated payback periods.
6. Feasibility Analysis & Special Projects
-
Conduct feasibility assessments for special projects and assignments.

Assess business unit performance and recommend improvements to processes and systems.

Conduct research and analysis to propose practical solutions for the business and clients.
7. Market & Competition Intelligence
-
Support the availability of market intelligence information through competitor data collection and analysis.
-
Provide timely market and competition feedback to stakeholders for better market understanding and risk prediction.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
-
University degree in Statistics, Economics, or BCom in Accounting or Marketing.
Experience
-
At least 2–3 years of experience in a similar role.

Experience working with MIS and MySQL.
Technical Skills
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong computer literacy, especially in Excel and PowerPoint.
