Enterprise Sales Executive

About the Role

The Enterprise Sales Executive will be responsible for expanding M-Pesa’s corporate footprint by onboarding businesses into our Collection and Disbursement solutions. The role is highly target-driven and focuses on driving revenue growth, deepening customer engagement, and capturing new market opportunities across Tanzania.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and onboard new businesses to M-Pesa’s Collection, Disbursement, and other enterprise solutions.

  • Consistently achieve monthly targets for new account acquisitions.

  • Manage, maintain, and grow relationships with existing corporate clients.

  • Provide training and product support to businesses on M-Pesa services.

  • Collaborate with Segment Managers to align sales strategies with business goals.

  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and customer needs.

  • Prepare and present weekly/monthly sales reports to line managers.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field.

  • Proven sales experience, preferably in financial services, fintech, or telecom industry.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and collaboratively in teams.

Compensation Package

    • Base Pay (Fixed): 40% of total compensation.

    • Performance-Based Pay (Variable): 60% of total compensation, tied to KPI achievements.

Performance Metrics (KPIs)

    • New Account Acquisitions: Minimum of 6 new accounts per month.

    • Revenue Growth: Achieve targeted percentage increase in revenue from new accounts.

    • Customer Engagement: Increase transactions per account by agreed KPIs.

    • Training & Support: Conduct at least 1 training session per quarter for clients.

    • Market Research: Submit monthly market trend reports.

    • Customer Satisfaction: Achieve a minimum 90% customer satisfaction score.

Additional Information

  • Role requires frequent travel within assigned regions.

  • Candidates will undergo a one-week induction and training program.

  • Quarterly refresher training will be provided on products, compliance, and sales strategies.
