MIS Executive (MIS & Reporting Executive)

About the Role

The MIS Executive (MIS & Reporting Executive) will be responsible for SQL scripting, data mining, data analysis, and report publication to support business decision-making within the Marketing function.

The role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate, timely, and automated reporting through Business Intelligence (BI) systems. The successful candidate will support revenue planning, product performance monitoring, and trend analysis by transforming raw data into meaningful insights for management and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Reporting, Business Intelligence & Dashboard Management
  • Manage end-to-end Business Intelligence (BI) reporting processes, including report loading, logic validation, automation, and database table updates.

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain standard Marketing reports in line with business requirements.

  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data generated from BI systems.

  • Produce and publish monthly Marketing performance dashboards for internal users and management.

  • Continuously improve reporting efficiency through automation and optimization of reporting processes.

2. SQL Scripting & Data Mining
  • Interpret business requirements and translate them into accurate SQL queries and scripts.

  • Apply SQL guidelines and procedures to extract, transform, and generate reliable datasets.

  • Perform data mining activities to support performance tracking, product validation, and strategic analysis.

3. Count, Value & Revenue Planning Support
  • Provide accurate data inputs to support revenue planning and forecasting activities.

  • Support product validation initiatives by providing analytical insights and performance reports.

  • Conduct regular tracking of key metrics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

  • Provide data and analysis to support revenue trending, growth evaluation, and management decision-making.

4. Stakeholder Support & Collaboration
  • Work closely with Marketing, Revenue Planning, and other internal teams to understand reporting needs.

  • Support management by providing timely insights that inform strategic and operational decisions.

  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with internal reporting standards.

5. Additional Duties

  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Revenue Planning Manager in line with business needs.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any other relevant degree.

Professional Certifications (Added Advantage)

  • Certification in SQL Language

  • Oracle certification


Experience:

  • Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in Information Technology or a related analytical role.

  • Experience within the telecommunications industry will be an added advantage.

  • Experience working in a performance-driven organization.

Skills:

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.

  • Excellent planning and organizational abilities.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Excellent presentation skills.

  • Ability to work with large datasets and translate data into actionable insights.

  • Motivated, flexible, and decisive with the ability to align stakeholders with differing views.

  • High personal standards, goal-oriented, and results-driven.

  • Cultural awareness and ability to work across multiple teams and environments.

  • Proficiency in English.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any other relevant degree.

Working Conditions

  • Workshop-based with occasional field visits for training and support
  • Requires adherence to workplace safety standards and proper tool usage
  • May involve flexible hours or weekend work based on operational needs

Performance Metrics (KPIs)

  • Timely and accurate production of Marketing and revenue reports

  • Reliability and consistency of BI dashboards and automated reports

  • Quality and usefulness of data insights provided to management

  • Effectiveness of revenue tracking and trend analysis

  • Compliance with reporting timelines and standards
