1. Privacy Assessment & Compliance Oversight

• Lead and supervise the completion of PIAs and DPIAs across products, systems, vendors, and internal operations.

• Review data processing activities, identify risks, and classify them based on severity.

• Ensure all assessments are completed accurately, comprehensively, and within agreed timelines.

2. Regulatory Coordination

• Prepare and submit cross-border data transfer permit applications to the Personal Data Protection Commission.

• Ensure timely submission and compliance with regulatory requirements.

3. Reporting & Documentation Management

• Maintain an updated tracker for all privacy activities including PIAs, DPIAs, and transfer approvals.

• Prepare and submit monthly privacy performance reports to the Privacy Manager.

• Ensure documentation is accurate, consistent, and audit-ready.

4. Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with business owners, legal, cybersecurity, compliance, commercial teams, and external partners.

• Facilitate regular follow-up sessions and provide clarity to stakeholders on requirements and expectations.

• Escalate delays, blockers, or compliance gaps where necessary.

5. Team Supervision

• Supervise and guide staff supporting privacy tasks.

• Review their work and ensure adherence to privacy policies, frameworks, and best practices.

• Provide mentorship to enhance team capability and performance.

6. Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement

• Conduct quality checks on all privacy assessments and ensure alignment with internal policies.

• Recommend improvements to assessment procedures, reporting processes, and risk management controls.

• Support the implementation of privacy governance frameworks.
